Help Japan Art Sale at Common / 31st March 2011 / 6pm

Designers, illustrators and photographers from around the world have donated work including originals, prints, knitted beards and fans to our Help Japan Art Sale.

Come down to Common’s Kestrel Suite from 6pm on Thursday 31st March.

You will be able to buy our hand-screenprinted poster for £1 and learn how to make an origami crane. Thanks to Chris Shearston, Alan Dalby, Vicky Carr and John Newton for designing and making our poster.

Papergirl is an art project from Berlin, having made its UK début in Manchester last summer. In 2011 Papergirl will take place in Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol. In the style of American paper-boys, rolls of art will be distributed by bicycle on the streets of Manchester to random passers-by.

From doodles to photography and screenprinting to painting, submit upto 10 pieces of work* to be part of Papergirl Manchester.
